paperheroes dot net is the personal site of Erin “Rin” Chupeco, currently residing in Metro Manila, Philippines. Sometimes people call her Nissie too, for no important reason.
She doodles, paints, and sells crochet dolls and other oddities at deadcraft dot com.
But mostly she writes about monsters and imaginary places in the hidden corners of her brainspace because her shrink says it’s therapeutic, and a lot more fulfilling than wandering around outside, scaring hobos. Always on the lookout for a great ghost story. Said to resemble a pale Japanese lady revenant with strangled hair. Is easily offended by this, often slithering back into her well to sulk.

She’s been a tech writer, a digital artist, an IT specialist for a presidential campaign, an events planner and marketing executive, an activist, a freelance travel and gaming writer and, most recently, a wife. Suffers from mild hypergraphia and a thoroughly smart mouth. Maintains this blog, a small business, and a sense of humor.
